Annual Return and financials

After the end of each financial year the Parish Council is required to complete an annual audit return, which includes a governance statement and an accounting statement for the year. In accordance with the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and accompanying Regulations and Transparency Code, any interested person has the right to inspect the financial records within the 30 working day period set out in the notice included with the return. In addition, local electors have the right to question the designated auditor about the accounts and raise objections in writing to any item in them within the same period.
